Organ Relocation & Restoration ~

Wm. B.D. Simmons, c. 1850, 1/6. This organ was relocated from the Baptist Church, Eastport, Maine, and fully restored.

The 16' Pedal Bourdon was enlarged from thirteen to twenty-five notes and the hand-pumping mechanism was retained.

In keeping with the original, we finished the pine casework in faux-grain walnut. The sides of the case were extended to conceal the pipes and chest of the new 16' Pedal stop. To enlarge the Pedal compass to 25 notes from its original 13, we constructed a new flat pedal board and action A view of the new pedal chest and pipes The new pedal chest and roller board
